I've been able to figure out how to create these compositions despite not knowing anything about geometry

It takes at least 25 steps for each piece to go from initial inspiration to its final creation

from this design work, I can calculate and figure out how to create the final structure

the shadows in each piece are an intrinsic part of the composition

I use, or create, single sided colored paper. In all of my pieces, you are actually looking at the white side of the paper, the color you’re seeing is the reflective color bouncing off of the surface
